The Plaquemines Port Harbor and Terminal District advises that the Belle Chasse/Scarsdale Ferry will run extended hours again today.
The last trip from the West Bank will be 7:00 p.m. and the last trip from the East Bank will be 7:15 p.m.
PLAQUEMINES PARISH GOVERNMENT - FERRY NOTIFICATION
Per the Plaquemines Port Harbor and Terminal District:
The ferry located in Pointe a la Hache remains out of service until further notice. They are awaiting parts to make repairs and the Coast Guard’s approval thereafter.
The ferry located at Belle Chasse will be operating extend hours today!
The last trip from the West Bank will be 7:00 p.m. and the last trip from the East Bank will be 7:15 p.m.

The Plaquemines Port Harbor & Terminal District advises that the M/V Belle Chasse II located in Pointe a la Hache is out of service until further notice due to steering issues.
Once repairs are made the USCG has to inspect & approve repairs in order to resume service.
