Half Day Court Closure Notice for Friday June 18, 2021!
By Court Order dated June 18, 2021, the 25th Judicial District Court will close at 12:30pm in observance of Juneteenth pursuant to Executive Proclamation 111 JBE 2021 signed by Governor Edwards dated June 6, 2021.
If you have been subpoenaed for Petit Jury on Tuesday, June 15th with Judge Michael Clement, at this time, jurors MUST appear as subpoenaed. However, jurors MUST call back on Monday, June 14th after 4:30pm for an updated status for appearance. Jurors are to call the Juror Information Line of 504-934-6725 after 4:30pm, Monday June 14th.

If you were summoned for Jury Duty with Judge Michael Clement in Division B for Monday, May 10th, you must CALL the Juror Information line at 504-934-6725 after 12:00 noon on Monday May 10th as to the status of the jury and whether or not you are to report for jury duty on Tuesday, May 11th at the Courthouse in Pointe-a-la-Hache.
Please DO NOT report to the Courthouse until instructed to.
